It’s almost 2012, if you’re offended by anything, you’re the problem. Grow up and realize that just because something is taboo in your mind, in your little fantasy world, whether it be sex, drugs, race, or whatever, you’re the person who is wrong when someone “offends you,” because that person is not the person with some kind of prejudice in their mind.

Idunno, man, rape is pretty goddamn taboo in my mind. Does that make me wrong in your mind? Isn’t having a prejudice against people with prejudices a bit of a contradiction in itself?

Okay, I can agree that I don’t like the idea of rape or murder or shit. But I do think that a lot of people could be A LOT more open minded about sex, drugs, life, etc.  I can say that I still do ‘shame’ certain people who do things, while I could care less about others doing the same thing. I think the post is more, people are a lot less open minded than they should be in 2012, and people should really think more about a lot of things, because they’ll realize how much shit isn’t true/isn’t that bad.

That’s not the point I’m trying to make. What I’m trying to say is not that people should be more open minded when it comes to stuff like that, because the content is not what is important. What is important is the intention. If someone is trying to tell a joke, you should be able to tell the difference between a joke and an insult or something with malicious intent. If you think something is out of bad taste because it makes you uncomfortable, you are the problem. How are we still so sensitive in the world we live in today? It’s fuckin’ crazy.
